These types of kilims were hand-made and woven by nomads and villagers in the Maymanah province of Afghanistan. A special technique is used in the weaving, so the kilims are thinner but also made faster than traditional oriental carpets. After preparation, they were washed four times and dried in the sun. Their pattern is a traditional, warm antique pattern, but can often be more modern. They are very popular, mainly because they fit perfectly into most homes. It is used to decorate a home, both on walls and on the floor. Take a look at our offer!
